Does it exist some company that makes and sells after market bellhousings that make it possible to connect a Subaru engine directly to a Renault UN1 transmission without adapter plates?

I want a bullet proof powertrain that looks like it came that way from the factory.

Yes I know about that kit and if the Subaru gearboxes wasīnt that expensive I would already have bought that kit months ago.

Subarus hasīnt been that common here in Sweden untill the last 10 - 12 years when they have been really popular and because that there is not many gearboxes at the scrapyards, only from some 1990ies Legacyīs. I think thatīs why they are so expensive here.

I also do complete Subie converted boxes with type 2 output flanges for USD $3700 plus shipping (which should be around $400.)

I don't know if that is 'expensive', everything is relative but I would guess it would be cheaper, more compact and more factory than trying to engineer a subie/un1 solution. Remember with the shortened subie box there's no cutting of torsion bars or beams, unlike with the g50 and un1 boxes. And your cv's and axles bolt right up.

I am working hard on reducing prices over the next 12 months as our volume goes up. My goal is to get the price of a converted box down to USD $3000 without sacrificing quality.

Hi Magnum

Where did you get the bell housing from? The UN1 box is one of the options i'm considering for my conversion. What flywheel, clutch assembly and input shaft are you using as well?

Awesome

Does that mean if you use their Subaru to UN1 input shaft, you can use the standard Subaru starter, flywheel and clutch assembly as well?
