Alternator belt

Hi all,
I need a new alternator belt for my 2.0n/a it's out a 2000 year impreza sport, I've got one of Richards centre alternator stands. I have contacted Richard but he's not got back to me, busy man I guess, the outer 'wrap' of the belt has come off so part no.
Anyone know the part no?[/img]

I can't give you a part number regrettably.

However you can work it out.

Adjust the stand to the belts mid way position

Get a measurement of the belt length required ( let's assume it goes around the alternator, around the crank and back up to the alternator pulley)

Count the number of belt ribs ( think it's 5 )

It'll translate into something like G340 (G= number of ribs) + (340 = belt length)

I spent ages down at Halfords looking for a belt then ended up descyphering the part number and bought my belt from the motorfactors.

Hopefully somebody will come along with the correct part number though
