Hello Iam new on here and looking for any advice on putting my 2.0 N/A subaru into my chesil speedster. Its my second subaru powered VW as i have already converted my T25.
The speedster has an Irs rear end and iam planning on putting a taller ratio box in it (4.375 AM code at the moment). i will probably use either a DS tuning adapter or a Kennedy one.
i have the subaru engine and modified (RJES) Loom and iam planning on putting the radiator (possibly an MGF one as they are fairly small) in the spare wheel well and running tube along the sides underneath .
my main worry is supporting the engine , i was thinking of using an axle strap and midmount but have realised the Chesil has a fairly substantial rear subframe that might be able to help support the engine using a modified bay style support bar.
If anyone has done this before any advice would be great |
