bus has stopped working with immobaliser light coming on

Hi i'm after some advice please,I've been happily driving my bus for a year with a 2ltr subaru engine using the great wiring loom from rjes, however the bus began to start and instantly cut out, now it wont start and the immobaliser light is on, it will fire into life then die if easy start is placed down the air filter and checking voltages it looks like the injectors are not getting enough electic to open, fitted a brand new battery and they are getting less than 1v, and I would expect close to 10v, so presuming the ecu may be kettled. Anyone had this problem and found a simple answer?

Id say check the key or immobiliser tag hasn't moved or been knocked etc away from the pick

so I've checked all the electrics and they are fine, and the key is still in the right place etc, however the immobaliser light stays on and the ignition will not allow the engine to turnover, looked on a few subaru forums and seems the light sometimes comes on after a battery change (i've just put a brand new set in) and needs resetting but no one knows how to on this mod, only in a subaru you press the brake pedal, hasn't worked in the camper, anyone know a reset solution or time for a new ecu, transponder etc?

If it was me I would try having the battery disconnected for about 10 mins then turn ignition on then connect the battery. This is the advised route after fitting airbags etc so I cant see it causing harm, its a route ive taken on various vehicles when alarms etc have messed about the last thing I did it on was an escort with a faulty dash and that worked Happy
