The world's first fully automatic 1302?

Yellow folks how the hell are you, I hope you're all good?
I just joined lately, whereas I'm a long standing VW fan both air and water cooled, and no stranger to the motor trade having worked for myself within it for 20 years now. A mechanical engineer by trade, I've restored 2 Karmann Ghia convertibles , a beetle, and a T3 van.

I am now about to convert a 72 1302ls to water cooled for a very different reason than normal. I need to drive a fully automatic............ its a bit of a story. but it's most likely the reason I'm now pretty much fearless.

But depending on the mind set and once this first project is done I'm then planning on converting the 1989 1.8/9 water-cooled fully auto T25 pick up. I've nicked the gearbox and most likely its complete multi point fuel injected, electronic ignition engine from it. I'll convert it to 1.9 tdi using the complete automatic gearbox engine and driveshafts from an Audi A4 Tdi Avant.

I have all three complete vehicles in my 4500 sq foot store, along with a slaughtered 2020 3.2 Boxster, again complete apart from most of the front panels which are wrapped around a tree somewhere in the dead of night?

Ok Mr Boxster keeps screaming 'USE ME in your crazy activities you header' but I'll need to find an auto box capable to take that grunt first plus I have a 95 968 convertible that I can never let go of (my life changing illness happened when I was recovering this for an insurance company) and a 330 BM to play with. I rode sports bikes like a nutcase all my life until falling ill, I lost the use of my left arm a few years back and speed is not as important to me anymore.

Now the reason for this post is simple, I'd like my bug to start when needed and be able to deal with motorway life at ease once I'm finished.
So any of you guys got any info , facts or knowledge on the 1800cc watercooled vw T25 engine? Bhp, fuel pressure needed bla bla bla... As I said before I have the complete van waiting to be plundered to death. Many thanks in advance - if you are ever in Paddyland, I'll buy you a pint of vitamin G.

Ok, you're thinking, 1 arm and reference to mental health? But before I sign out, I own and run a company that trades in new turbos and rotary engine components (EGR valves, CATs etc), and another company that makes and markets vehicle components that cannot be bought anywhere else (e.g replacement tie rods to fit Ssangyongs, replacement shock absorber bushings etc) and I believe that mechanically there is nothing that can't be put together.

Any info to help me along the way would be appreciated.
