Power Steering

Hi people, Ive fitted a vauxhall astra steering rack fed with a citoen saxo pump, problem is when i fire it up the steering goes full righthand lock all by itself and its a nightmare to try and drive,it goes all over the place, any ideas as to cause and remedy please.

Best advice I can give is......
Start again with a Corsa "c" column and eletric pump and incorperate it into the original column so you can retain the ignition and keys - It works for me and did not cost alot, £50 for the column and pump and £40 for the "Brain" then half a days graft - SEEMPLES!
