I'm nearly at the point where i can start her up but the fuel pump is not running? I've tried it directly accross the battery and it works. I've tried swapping the relay for another but to no avail. Please help me |

| Fuel pump only work for about 3 seconds when the ignition is turned on(to prime the system) it then shuts done. When you crank the engine it starts to run again. It continues to run as long as the ECU detects rpm from the engine via cam/crank sensors. |

| The only thing I can think of is the relays are powered seperately to the ECU in the Subaru loom. Check the relays are getting power and earth out the activation pin on the relay to see if it will run the pump. |

Year? Who did your loom, etc etc....
As mackaymanx said, it should run for approx 3 secs - to pressurise the system
The signal from the ECU is a ground ie 0V. Have you got the 12v and 0v the right way around? _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

All sorted with the fuel pump now, had a relay missing would you believe!
Had a few coughs and splutters but still nothing. Do you think plug leads could be in wrong order? what is correct order? |
