Good afternoon.
Wondering if any of you lovely people might be able to offer any assistance.
I have a 2004 uk model sti engine in my buggy and am having trouble wiring the fuel pump up.
My old engine/ecu was really easy, the ecu simply supplied an earth to the fuel pump relay but this new ecu doesn't work the same and was wondering if anyone has any ideas about it. I know there is a fuel pump controller but no idea how it works as such.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers Ian. |

I'm not sure, but don't some of the later subarus use the pump controller so there isn't a need for a fuel return line? _________________ http://www.ricola.co.uk |

Yep fuel pump controller, i wasn't aware of the lack of return line, it appears the fuel pump controller regulates the speed/pressure of the pump depending on load/speed.
I really want to wire the fuel pump so it runs as close to factory as possible but not sure how. Will do some more research.
