Fitting a Heater

I have now fitted the engine and want to connect a proper heater at the front, ideally to connect to the original pipes at the front - any pics, guides ideas

All would be greatly received?

think theres photo's of my old heater setup in my old tdi twin slider bay basically folded a steel box slipped mk2 golf heater matrix in it fitted that into totum pole that feeds the dash feed with a 3 speed electric fan under the cab floor worked amazzingly used van in snow and all winter and was as hot as a modern car used to clear ice off the screen in the morning no probs

did same on the split but mounted heater matrix under cab floor loks totally stock from inside other than for extra switch on the dash

This is my solution:

It is a T25 rear heater, modelled a funnel that connects to the central rising pipe. Bent some aluminum to form a support. Used a Beetle switch on the dash. All in all an evenings amount of work.

Thanks for the advice I will try and get a heater matrix from the scrappers and see how I fair

Im considering one of the T7 Design heaters for our bay. Possibly this 8kw monster (depending on dimensions)
