Hi there,
Still very busy with my project but thinking about my engine.
I would like to fit a turbo on it but that gives alot of thermal energy that will reak havoc on the pistons.
As some of you will remember i want to drive mine on LPi but that changed after getting in contact with my supplier of the standalone ecu from KDFI.

He's not a great fan of LPi (he build his system with VSi) because of the regular pompfailures and noise from it and very important the extra almost freezing cooling which you get when liquid gas instantly has to evapourate.
This cooling has so much capacity that it'll freeze up the intake and nozzles.
I scouted the web for problems concerning LPi pumpfailures, noise and freezing but i'm unable to find any!
As i already wrote in my first article on LPi, it has a higher octane ratio so knocking should be avoided.
Therefor would i be safe to put a turbo on a N/A engine if i use LPi as fuel?
Anyone like to share his opinion? _________________ convertin' a VW T2 t1 '69 15 window "splitty" into a daily driver, to be continued....... |

I'know nothing about LPI or any of the other abbreviations you mentioned.
I do however happen to have a lot of turbo spares knocking around if your interested. Not sure about the postage to you or how easily you can source the parts in your neck of the wood. But figured id offer them to you [/list] _________________ Think......
