Hello I have a EJ22 I'm putting into my '77 Westfalia and i have a couple of questions regarding my cooling since I am not running things like most people on this site.

I need a diagram on how to run my system effectively based on my options I have.

I am having a custom built Radiator built for underneath my bus.

I am not running a reverse coolant manifold.

I am not running a heater matrix at this time but I will be in the future.

I have Tom Shiels' Termostat adapter with the nipple.

What I would need to know if how the in world would I connect everything up the correct way.

I'm just a little confused on how to connect everything up the correct way without over heating or getting vapor locks.

Thanks
-Jim

Hi Jim

Basically follow my setup schematic but use your stock steel pipe (16mm) on the manifold instead of my welded on bit.
Take this to the top of your header tank (Vauxhall Frontera or T3 work very well)
Now take the lower pipe from the header to Tom's adaptor
Run the short pipe on the water manifold as Subaru intended ie IAC, T/B and back into the stock return to the 'stat
