Hi, Newbie, and in the finishing stretch of a transplant ej20 n/a into 77 bay.
I've mounted a rad/scoop between the chassis rails the rad has one inlet and one outlet. i've got no heating matrix. my question is cos its doing my head in what pipes do i plumb to what?? i want to get ordering pipe etc before the weekend to fit them only leaves the zorst rev counter temp gauge bit of wiring on and on and on etc etc etc............  _________________ autoinnovations-kempston.co.uk

So, firstly thanks for that and secondly, one pipe from the rad to the thermostat(cold return). one from top (don't have reversed manfold) to the rad(hot) with a t piece to have thermo for the relay to fans. then because i dont have a heater matrix from the manifold at the back a pipe to the header tank and then the other which goes to the thermo bottom hose also to the header tank. Right? also the overflow pipe what doea that run to filler tank?? i thought youd fill it from the header tank?? _________________ autoinnovations-kempston.co.uk

As you're not using a matrix, just take the one from the bottom of the header to the 'stat housing _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
Your experiences are worth shed loads to others, including the f'ups - live and learn.
Wouldn't YOU rather learn by someone else's mistakes? So would they.
'78 Bay, 2 litre 091 box, EJ20 NA & the ashtray's on the 'right' side.
