Hi!

Does anyone here have purchased things from http://shop.busprojekte.de/? I did order that Subaru to Renault bellhousing, the driveaxle flanges, the UN1-mounting kit and a special designed cable shift mechanism (to fit my Volvo 850 shift lever) in late 2010. When I ordered the bellhousing it did not exist yet because they were working at the prototype and I would get one of the first working ones. They told me that I would probably have to wait until Mars before they would have a 100% working bellhousing/clutch/slave cylinder.

After that they have told me:

20th Mars:
"Hi eric,

didn't you got my last mail (2 weeks ago)? I sent you some Pictures of our test assembly.

At the moment we're testing the bellhousing in our workshop. If everything will work as is at the moment I will be able to ship next week!

I attached some pictures to this mail. Please give me a short response if this mail arrived."

13th April:
"Hi Eric,

it seems like we're ready to ship next week.

Thanks for your patience."

5th May:
"Hi Eric,

we had some trouble regarding the clutch lever. Its been fixed and ill pack your parts tomorrow." (How many weeks before you pack the things do I have to wait until you ship them?)

After that I have got no response. It is okay with me if the work takes som time but then I expect that they tell me exactly why things are delayed within two or three days, specially because I have payed for the things. If it is like now I do not recommend noone to buy things from them if the communication not will be better than this.

I had hoped to drive with the car this summer, but now it seems like it is just to forgetting that right now. I am almost tempted to drive down to Germany and get the stuff myself.

Is it someone more here that have had problems purchasing parts from Busprojekte?

Does someone know any German forums equal to this or maybe some German VW-transporter forum?

Maybe it will give greater effect if I spread bad publicity of the company on their own home market?

The only problem is that I am not very good in writing german (Deutch), hopefully the most of them (everyoune under 40 years old) understand english.

I have got a new mail from them again now. It seems like they have to do some more road tests before they can ship anything. Hopefully they will ship next week/I will have the parts within two weeks. Well... time will tell...

It is to be hoped that I will see them in real sometime. My plan was that the car should be ready for "Bug Run" (http://www.bugrun.com/ VW-meeting at Mantorp Park in Sweden) 10 - 12 june but now it seems like that meeting is raining away and I have to work this week end anyway.

It is written in Swedish but if you use Google´s translating tools maybe you can understand at least 80%, because here is my project topic if you are interested: http://www.garaget.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=56640

Sounds like you're having a bit of a game with that company, although I'd rather they give me an item they were completely happy with and fully tested than fob me off with an untested version leaving me to be the guinea pig. I reckon in these situations as long as the company in question keep you fully updated on a regular basis and give you the option of refund at any time if they are taking longer to get the product to you than envisaged then most would be understanding. Sounds to me like they need to work a bit more on there customer service and obviosuly get thier arses in gear and finish the bloomin adapter Grin

Just had a looksee at the pics of your bus and looks awesome that dash/gear selector looks like fun

Hi,
this is the german T25/vanagon forum with the most capable guys http://www2.vwbus-online.org/forum/forum.php

Even some of the parts-dealers are members.

Don´t mind the language. Nearly everybody speaks english over here.
Good luck!
