EJ20G coil pack conversion

Well i found this little right up on converting the old style of coil pack found on the classic pre facelift Impreza and I guess Foresta... Subaru's fitted with the EJ20G engine.

It's a bleeding good right up and looks to be a simple fix a very common problem on these engines where the coil pack cracks and fractures the plastic housing causing ignition problems.

I'm currently getting no spark from my plugs at the minute and if I end up having to replace the coil packs then I will definitely be doing it this way.

ill have to get pics of a simpler conversion on here using a single coil pack conversion same as other ej engines

would this mean i could change from coil packs to the later single coil and leads on an early turbo engine??
