Where from and what

Hi all i have a 72 bay and wanna put a ford 1.8d engine in iv got a 1600 gearbox where do i get an adapter from what flywheel and clutch do i use? Standard ford item or? Cheers aaron

Adapter plate your best bet is to keep your eyes peeled on ebay, vzi or here as they come up from time to time otherwise KEP for a new one I guess.

Mine uses Ford flywheel and pressure plate with T25 clutch but they do seem to differ as you may get a kit with a input shaft that allows use of the Ford Clutch, so you would swap the input shaft on yer 1600 box with this.

Yer I got mine from cbe but they dont make them any more unfortunatly but it uses a full escort clutch and starter motor so its nice and simple. The kit has an adaptor plate and a new gear box input shaft.
