what year is the engine?

I'd guess at it being a phase 1.5 - phase 2 so 1996>

The turbo entry reaches underneath the inlet manifold also the single coil pack on top of the inlet manifold?

Having a guess I'd say they both are breathers.

The first picture being a rocker breather pipe

and the second appears to be the crank case breather location.

1st one's a crank breather. on a Nat asp it connects to the rockers and the intake manifold (after the MAF)

Can't help you with the other, you should have taken photos Wink

Umm, I think Kai took some photos and did a most excellent write up of turbo hoses. (Sticky at the top of this section)

Now you can buy Kai a beer

How are your rockers connected then??

They should be as Elusive said.

Although your engine is a later model to mine the block is the same, the turbo entry and the inlet manifold are slighty different but fundamentally the same.

I still think the first is for the rocker breathers. They should join together underneath the inlet manifold and then join to the inlet pipe.

If you certain about the rockers then it'll either be for crank case breather or for the Idle control valve but I think I can see the piping for that in The second picture (metal pipe going to rubber, runs parallel to the connection in question)

Might help to have a picture zoomed out slightly.

How are your rockers joined up? Where are the breathing air from?

If your breathing to atmosphere then you can just block all open connection after the AFM or else you'll encounter running problems.
