Ok i fitted my flywheel today to my ej20 engine from an auto car. I fitted the bolts and torqued them up with no washers etc. Should i have used that round washer plate?

are you talking about the torque converter plate the same size as the flywheel? then no ..

Also have you used longer bolts as the flywheel is thicker than the auto torque plate so requires longer bolts? (i have a part no at home for them if you require) i also used loctite as didnt want those buggers coming undone!!

I used the longer bolts that came withe the Kenedy flywheel. I had a long think about washers ind decided they are not needed as the bolts have been done up to 55 foot lbs. Cheers.

So when going from a motor with an auto flywheel to a munal flywheel one needs longer bolts too?

Ive seen the 12lb kits on Fleabay, figured Id look it up too.

Anything specific else needed?
