Are they much different in actual size..
Is the 5 Speed Box much Longer..???

I don't know about fisical size but I was told that both gear box's have the same top and bottom gear its just the jumps between them are smaller so you don't actually gain any advantage on gearing apart from a smoother shift.
Not sure if that's relavent to you but I just thought I would mention it just in case.

Ok cool,,,
It's the Actual Size I'd like to know..
Reason Being,, A Guy I Know is making up a Cable Change Setup for T25 5 Speed Boxes.., I have a 4 Speed and He is having difficulty making the setup to suit my box,,
Different throw for reverse or something similiar.. |

the 5 speed box is a bit longer in the nose area but this shouldnt matter if you have a 4 speed diesel box as they are mid side shift, some earlier 4 speed petrols can be nose shifting (totally diferent) but not a diesel box
