A MASSIVE THANKYOU TO YOURSELF AND THIS FORUM FOR HELPING ME GET MY CONVERSION DONE AND UP AND RUNNING

ive just took it for its first run out and all i can say is wow it sounds amazing
and fast so much faster than me air cooled 1600
i may even be able to ge up the hills now hahaha

,ive used a rjes bellhousing
a rjes exhaust
rjes vss
clutch kit from rjes
fuel pump bosch
fuel tank altered with a 12m outlet and a 8mm inlet
chassis had to be altered slightly so that the starter motor fitted properly

and a evo rad fitted under the belly , without scoop yet
twin fan
this has all been fitted into a 1978 vw camper van

without this site i would have stood no chance of sorting this out without the help from this forum and the assistance of rich from rjes
im one very happy chappy and i carnt stop smiling

im going to spain in two weeks so hopefully all will be good

so once again a big massive thankyou especialy ElusiveStranger as ive followed most of your conversion

hello all
just thought iwould let you know that ive just done 3500 miles in france /spain in me van after doing the conversion
van ran great without any real problems
did about thirty to the gallon so well happy
sat about 65\70 had it up to 85 but that was a bit scary hahaha
best thing ive ever done to me van

i do need to re look at the scoope thou as i think im losing some cool airi will try and get some pics up when i get a minute

ive allso got a squeak somewhere i think it may be a roller on the cam belt
