| Yeah, just stock vw clutch stuff. You really need to get an upgraded pressure plate and a more resilient clutch, though. I have some slippage and thats with a ej22 non turbo. |

I got my clutch stuff from lawn mower.net they suggested the kennedy stage II pressure plate and the copperhead clutch disk (both in 200mm).
I thought i'd be alright with a heavy duty pressure plate and the KEP gold clutch disk, but alas mine slips if you drop the clutch on it and keep shifting hard. I guess 'heavy duty' doesnt really mean much. |

If you type a1rc00led on here it becomes "aircooled" _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

| I've got a kenedy clutch black with gold bits in and a kenedy stage III pressure plate. This is going in my split on an AT code gearbox. Dont forget to put in a heavy duty clutch release arm any poly bush! |

Alternative to what ping suggests is chuck some more weld around the the clutch release shaft forks (the ones that hold your thrust bearing in situe). After having one break and following advice from Rich RJES that it is common. I welded mine all the way around the forks. I think VW had a single blob of weld on each side and Just Kampers even less.
It will break sooner or later![/img] _________________ 89 Crew Cab (Subaru 2.5na)
