I'll begin the sub conversion in 2 weeks

for the moment , the engine is 1600 2 x 34ICT ; I'm collecting all the parts to make the conversion

the front is welded plate make by one of my friend


the rear is the oldspeed kit, not really good with the handrake so I ve placed an hydro one.




for the rear atmo/turbo same size of drills

for the front , you can buy plate from t2d and a pair of early splindles

for the hydro some pics

There s a "small" problem with m'y gearbox ...it s dead so Icould must report the swap.
For the moment I m on the sump, cut the oil sucker,sels and modify the Cosworth baffle

The problem with my gearbox is closed, I 've bougth another one, aluminium case ( more stronger) more longer (8 x 31)
the max speed at 6000 rpm with 205/50/17 is 140 mph

in France when you put a sub engine into an lawn mower VW , everyone thrown you of the stones ( I don't know if it's the good words)



so , I prepare a secret project.....And I found that one of my friend thought about that in secret too cause I love them....

( this pics is one of my friend , who's put an EJ 20 + all the trans into a superbeetle )

sunday work

put in place the baffle, the sucker and the first part of the sump, the screws are too short ! I must waiting to finish
TO FIT THE BUGAT5SPEED SUMP YOU MUST REMOVE THE ENGINE MOUNT




the oil sensor adapter




the plate adapter and the flywheel


new spark plugs and ignition leads set



and repainting and washing some parts
