new to this conversion game and been looking for the right engine. Saw a mk5 tdi from a golf with 8000 miles on it but with ecu and starter issues I thought the job was prob too big...
so what type of engine?
are ecu's a nightmare and don't most newer engines have them?
is there a way round these problems?
aren't old engines nearing their life span with 100,000's of miles on them?
I want my bus to go well, have better mpg than my 1600,be reliable and allow me to drive the dam thing!!!!
any advice would be appriciated
