Very nice, looks like a component from a cyberdyne model 101
Also looks a hell of a lot better then the cable shifter I'm using on my motor. but then the gearbox is dry from oil, engine still is not running plus my shifter hasnt been mounted yet either. to top it all off I think one of my cables is catching on something too
Well done though looks super smooth _________________ Think......

| Your looking at the first prototype which I have fitted into my van. Just about to do a pre-production run for both petrol & diesel vans. Same transmission kit for 4 & 5 speed. The kit would be a complete bolt on installation, everything except the gear knob. Took me 4 hours to fit including removing old linkage (first time), guess a skilled person would be less than 2 hours. Target price for complete system would be £300 plus carriage. Could dispatch anywhere in the World & have Credit Card facility. |

Would this fit a baywindow gearbox as well? I think the nose cone bolt patterns are similar? If so it would mean we can fit 5 speed T25 box's, which are dirt cheep, instead of the pricey 2lt 091 boxs _________________ www.faltownskateboards.com |

Please have a look at a very rough set of brackets on a T25 transmission.
You will see that the Bay & T25 boxes are very different. My design will not fit the Bay. New design could be done, new stand for Cab Unit would be required to fit Bay. Unfortunately I have very little experience of Bays.

looking at that it would make it easy to fit a t25 box into a bay, as you wouldnt need to worry about the shift rod lining up...
could you get it to work with both types of t25 shifter (side of the box, and side of the nosecone)? _________________ '72 Ratty Bug - Subaru EJ20 Turbo motor. |

| I am only familiar with the style of box on my web link. Could you get me a picture of the other type? |

this is the only pic i could find online, but you can see that the shifter is on the side of the nosecone, rather than the side of the intermediate housing. Its a DK (early lawn mower) box, and is a favourite for bigger power conversions - so might be worth your while getting a cable shifter to work with it as well...

youll still be looking at a good 200 quid for a half decent 5 speed box... _________________ '72 Ratty Bug - Subaru EJ20 Turbo motor. |

Would only work with the side of box transmission.
Glad I'm now aware of the other type, something to check on each enquiry.
If anyone does have a good T25 5 speed box for £200 please let me know as mine is now very sick. |
