Hello

What a brilliant site this is!

I'm importing a 15 window Splitscreen from South Africa, not what some people call a "proper" splitscreen as it is a Brazilian Fleetline circa 1975. Complete and runs. Its on its way in a container. I plan to put either a EJ22 or EJ25 engine in it.

I plan a 5 speed porsche box and 944 discs, IRS and Creative steering box. Plan to take aircon with the engine.

Ok, I wonder if any of you can shed some light on a few answers that don't seem to be jumping out at me.

I can see the EJ22 is a tried and tested way to go, but the EJ25 less so.

My brother in law has a EJ25 Quadcam estate in need of a headgasket that wonder with the necessary mods will fit??? After replacing headgasket and timing belt of course! Or buy an EJ22 and go that route?

As the EJ25 is here this would be economical, but maybe there's a reason NOT to?

Cheers

Simon

They're both nice motors. EJ22's are getting a bit scarce these days.
If I had an EJ25 laying around I'd deffo use it. I think they're physically the same size.

Fill your boots fella.
