Q8)Radiator size and orientation

I'm still unsure which rad to buy, i have seen a nice 750mm x 440mm alloy rad for around £100 but because it is so long i would have to mount it lengthways under the bus because the distance between the chassis rails is too narrow. Has anyone mounted their rad this way and been successfull ?
