Trying to remove the subaru motor from my t25. Sure i have removed all bolts and disconnected water lines that would hold in place or restrict. However i can not get the motor to budge only a few mm at most. I have anothee pair of hands to help but even still cannot get it out. Have tried putting in gear and rocking but no joy. Anything obvious i have missed?

Urgent advise needed as i need motor out tonight.

Thanks

Griff

is it a turbo motor?

I heared there is something you need to do to disconnect the turbo clutch.

I'm sure someone will be along who can give you more details.

Might be the location pins being stubborn if it's not a turbo motor.
If it's not a specific RJES problem you're better posting to "Subaru Power" Wink

2 things I have learn't the gearbox and engine have to be perfectly aligned while supported otherwise everything is obber tight, also sometimes things need a bit more brute force!
