I'm looking at subaru injectors
there seems to ba a ton of performance mods for subaru engines as far as rallying goes, the plugs on the end of the looms will need changing and you'll need to machine the inlet manifold
I see no reason for not looking into other manufacturers ford volvo etc
TBH I've not looked for one second into aftermarket injectors, as manufacturers pile £££££££ into their development |

I have a box of Bosch 540's (i think) sitting under my desk at work - don't ask, there's 36
I'll look up the Part # on Monday and post it (unless RB gets here first) _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

I did some research on this a little while ago but unfortunetly the only info I kept is in my head
Found this though, not read all of it but its a good starting point if your new to injectors.
http://www.robietherobot.com/Storm/fuelinjectorguide.htm
Its fairly general.
I would stay away from aftermarket injectors, but if you dont then get them tested before installing them. I've read posts on Scoobynet of purchases of injectors and them being seized and spraying fuel in strange ways which you wont expect for the money spent on brand new injectors.
From my memory-
You want an injector that is capable of flowing twice your engines power. so say your producing 250BHP then you need an injector that can flow @ its peak 400-500BHP . This is because you dont want the injector to be running like a ninja squrriel on acid drinking fizzy drinks. You want the injector to be in the top half of its flow capacity to keep it active but not too active. The link above has a good formulae for working out what size you require.
Like driving a car really, your engine is capable of reving up to 6K but you only take it too 2,3,4K max. Unless you stole it of course and make use of that rev limiter
And yes you can go too big in your choice of injector. If your injector is rated for an engine producing 300-400BHP and your running 150BHP then its going to be too big and make you look silly.
My info is not definative so dont be offended if you dissagree on what I'm saying.
