hi jp its a slow process with one hand but im getting there ,ive still got a fair bit to do yet before we hear it running, ive managed to get loom in and wired up have had some more samco hoses turn up this morning so i will now be concentrating on feeding the hoses through the rear cross member and down the chassis(has to be neat from the off, cant be done with a bodge just to get it goin) will keep you informed and more pics when ive done a bit more |

loving the clean shiny engine , i wish i had done mine but i wanted to try it out before i spent hours/weeks cleaning. i think mine will come out in the winter and spend some time in the garage.
i feel sorry for you with the hand, i had a similar expieriance when doing mine, i was half way through my swap and i broke my elbow then i had to wait 8 weeks before i could get under the van again by which time the winter weather had set in.
looking good though
keep up the hard work _________________ 71 bay/91 subaru 2.2 legacy n/a

You did a good job on that engine.
What did you use to clean up the engine block?

hi mate
just used a general de greaser then wire brush in a drill to get rid of stubborn muck then give it a coat of high temp engine paint , the vans up and running now but my computer crashed and its resulted in me losing all the photos of the build so i cant post anymore on there , a bit gutted but thats life i suppose |
