Well as some of you are aware i have got my TDi Splitty up and running.
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=23027
Where i am at now is that the Dash pod keeps making lots of noise especially as it does not have things like
Brake disc sensor
ABS sensors
Screen wash bottle sensors and more ...
Now i could cut the wires to the bleeper in the dash... and painting over the light on the dash that flash up...
or could i think about fitting ABS and brake sensors to do this would i need to use the calipers from the donnor vehicle..
How would all this work...if at all. |

| if your thinking about ABS you will need to fit the pumnp ecu for it and all the sensors etc etc - ie quite a big job but not impossible. If tyhe only reason for doing this is to get rid of the buzzers and warnings then I think I would look for an electronic solution...ie either create a false signal for the ABS so it thinks it has it or as you suggest...take the bulbs out the dash and disable the buzzer! |

What about an aftermarket ecu such as the ones via Quatum performance?
Also you could get the ABS etc taken off the ECU
