Hi,
I`m putting my van up for sale -
Its a T3 1992 Last Limited Edition (LLE) Multivan in Orly Blue.
The van is in great condition and its been a tough decision to sell after all the hard work i`ve put in, but we`ve bought our first house and this is needed to help finance it.
This is an extremly high spec model fitted with all the luxuries needed(!). On top of this i have also fitted a Suburu Impreza Sport engine from a 1998 vehicle. This is the EJ20 naturally aspirated engine which is makes the van very quick but also able to keep a resonable mpg of approx 28mpg.
The van is a limited edition with only 2500 made - this being number 2127. The van spec as standard is fitted with the following items which are all fully functional -
Lowered suspension (30mm)
Sliding window center.
Power steering.
Tachometer.
GRP skirts and bumpers.
Single captains seats in front.
Seats behind driver and passenger seat.
Twin rectangular headlamps.
Rear heater.
Folding seat bank with stowage box.(Rock and roll bed).
Engine compartment cushion (to form bed.)
Folding table and fluro light
Blackout popper curtains.
Cup holders and ashtrays.
Velour carpets.
Central locking.
CD/Radio.
Electrically heated and adjustable outside mirrors in car colour
Lacquer finish in orly blue.
Limited on 2500 pieces.
It great for camping in with a full width rock and roll bed - it also has popper curtains which fit over each window - these just remove and pack away under the seat.
The engine as said above is an EJ20 naturally aspirated engine from a 1998 Subaru Impreza. I carried out the installation using extremely good quality components mainly from RJES (www.rjes.com). This included Richard supplying the rewired engine loom, bellhousing, reversed coolant manifold and several other components. The exhaust was custom made by myself from fully stainless steel and connected to the engine using RJES manifolds. Being a flat four, the engine looks really neat in the engine bay. I have been using it for quite a few months now and the difference is fantastic. Keeping up with traffic is no problem at all, no more lagging up hills and i can actually overtake people :-).
I also fitted a modified rev counter which looks just like the original but goes a little higher to 7000rpm.
When i went for the mot recently, i also got an engineers report to say that the vans suspension and braking was up to standard with the engine.
I have fitted new brake pipes, calipers a year ago and uprated braided flexi hoses aswell.
The alloy wheels have recently been fitted and finish the van off well - they have had new tyres fitted.
Being honest, there are a couple of small rusty bits on the van which i have taken photos of below and the gear change into 2nd when cold crunches slightly. Apart from these, the van is in excellent condition. The power steering makes manouvering the van a breeze and pulling away from the lights you can certainly suprise a few of the french filth saxos!
Its never been welded and is a solid van, the doors all shut nice and clunky and everything about it says its a top quality vehicle.
I`m in Weymouth in Dorset - i`m looking for about £5995 ono.
