Same splines t2 vs t25?

I bought a brand new clutch for my T2 conversion, and now when I plan to replace the engine in the pickup I wonder if it's the same splines?
The T2 is from -77 with a 091 box.
The pickup is a -83 diesel that I pretty soon will replace with a 90-ish diesel from a Golf/Jetta/Passat.

almost certain they are the same, even up to the 96 golf my aaz came out of. I think it's just the shaft lengths that vary, even then it's largely different lengths for the spigot bearing.

the input shaft splines are the same on the bug, t2 and t25 gearboxes

the aaz's 020 gearbox should have a 22mm finer spline input shaft
