Hi,
I have no use for my servo pump so i'm going to get rid of it, but what do I do with the rest of the pipes. Theres one which runs from the bottom, (the wastegate?), to a top piece, which is then Y'd off to the EGR valve. Am I right in thinking I can just link these two together and just cut out the Y piece going to the EGR?

what engine is it a aaz? the egr can be throw away just make blanking plate to go over the exhaust manifold outlet and use a earlier inlet elbow this also gives you more engine lid clearance.you can't take the vac pump out of the block and just block the hole off! the intermediate shaft on the cambelt runs the gear on the vac pump and this inturn turns the oil pump shaft removing the vac pump would result in no oil pressure _________________ 1964 rat 13 window deluxe 1Z tdi,
