I was wondering if I could see how you have made you gear change linkages up?

pictures of how the linkages fit would be grand as although I have my own idea for a linkage Its nice to see what other people have that works.

My box is a diesel if it makes any difference?

was thinking of doing this but considering i dont have the box yet thet might be difficult to do mock ups

i assume you mean putting a side shift in a bay or split to retain the origanal gear change

well I have a T25 Diesel gearbox, it has a side shifter and its going into a 72 baywindow, making brackets to fit the box is a piece of cake its getting the stock shift mechanism to work when the one on the box is about 4 inches further across and further back than a stock bay one.

hence why I wanted to see some pics of a stock linkage to work out how to make mine work

I been trying to see how the shift rod fits on a T25, I'd consider using the hole linkage but i think it goes below the chassis rails and thats not what I want.

from what I have seen T25s all have the sideshift, im sure this cant be the case because the front mount has a cut out for what looks like a front entry linkage.

I am currently working on a linkage to use stock bay linkage with a side shift box.

but run a the 25 linkage and gear shift

Well my bus is a tad low at the front and going round norfolk I managed to bottom out the suspension and even some of the beam/antiroll bar a fair amount, last thing I want is anything lower than the chassis rails hanging down!

Also having rads between the rails and scoop under it may cause interferance problems.

ah i see. my van was low till i had to put phat tyres on it to increase the gearing. i too have a rad between the chassis rails and linkage doesn't foul it...
