Hello all,
been following this site for ages, thought it was about time to get a few pictures up, Its a 72 bay with a replica splitty fibreglass front (brought from BaySplitz just before they went under) I have owned the bus for near on 20 years (yes...Im an old git)
Bus was taken off the road just over 2 years ago to replace the sills on each side but you know what tends to happen when you start poking about, lots of panels replaced, chassis stripped back to bare metal, etc etc.
Whilst the Bay was undergoing surgery we brought an 89 watercooled T25 as a stop gap. A nice drive with heating and a responsive engine but it lacked that bit of personality you tend to find in a T2. It was around this time that I came upon this site and decided Subaru power was the way forward.
Engine adaptor plate and wiring loom were purchaced, engine is fitted, new engine support from RJES is tacked into place, wiring is part way done and I have just fabricated and fitted a frame to mount the Rad beneath the chassis rails. just got to finish the plumbing, finish the wiring, build the exhaust system, rig up a fuel pump and filter...get it running... Oh...and then take it all apart again so i can re fit the fuel tank with its new sender and fuel return fitted.... to be continued...

Wouldn't YOU rather learn by someone else's mistakes? So would they.

'78 Bay, 2 litre 091 box, EJ20 NA & the ashtray's on the 'right' side.
I don't lean forward for hills any more Grin
