Hello there.
I'm putting an EJ22 in a T25/T3 camper, which compared to some projects is about as easy as it gets on here I thought!
I bought an abandoned project and after sitting and thinking about it all for months I made good progress today.
The engine and gearbox are together with the help of a RJES bell housing
I have finished the exhaust.
I have matched the corresponding plugs and roughly got the loom wrapped about the engine.
But now I need help. I didn't strip this engine from the car it came as a box of bits and I'm not finding thr pics in my Haynes much help.
Is there an idiots guide or schematic diagrams anywhere to help me with:
Rubber breather pipes
Fuel evap can thing (can it be junked) and fuel feed/return to engine
I also have a metal pipe about 12mm bore 150mm long with a flange with a single bolt hole one end and bulge for a push on rubber pipe the other, don't even know if its from this engine!!! I think I also have some extra rubber pipes just to confuse further.
Any help would be welcomed.

breather pipes link from both rocker covers and crank case (you can put a button filter on it and vent to atmosphere)
Fuel evap can thing (can it be junked) and fuel feed/return to engine

its 16mm and it would normally fit on the end of the water manifold ,i think rjes may have blocked it off on that one (cant see from pic)
I think I also have some extra rubber pipes just to confuse further.
Any help would be welcomed.

Oops, location added to profile.
Miles away, may as well be Timbuktu!!
Many thanks for the reply, the coolant manifold is reversed so thats that sorted, i'll throw that pipe now. Now sorted the cam covers and crank case got them linked to the air intake pipe.
Cheers,
Mike. |

It can be junked. Just connect the two little pipes with a rubber tube. |
