Impressive. That guy must have some kind of magic shoe horn (I could do with one of those too) to squeeze an EZ30 on a bus box into a beetle. To my knowledge the EZ30 is about 45mm longer than am EJ series engine.
The photo's don't quite show enough detail to show how he's done it, but he must have cut the centre out of the torsion tube moved the box forward quite a long way, like a G50 conversion. The half shaft angles certainly look like the box is way forward, but then the trailing arms look rather long too. First I wondered whether he had shortened the chassis, and the long trailing arms were to put the wheels back in the right place, but I can't quite tell.
Don't the frame forks and brace bar look spindly with that massive engine attached! _________________ Regards,
