Lost the bloody thing in the move to france. it may turn up but who knows. Anyone recognise the thing so I could order a new adapter or new set? internal dia of star is approx 16.5mm

| the pic aint working for me. have you tried to use a gatorgrip? i have used a gator grip to remove locking nuts in the past after loosing the tool for them |

Didn't see the picture either, but I have helped a couple of people when they've lost the key or, even worse, when the guys at the tyre shop totally wrecked it with the air tools...
I use a piece of steel tube that fits on the nut, if it's possible turn a couple layers of aluminium film (the kind your wife has in the kitchen...) around it to protect the wheel paint from the heat. Heat you say?! Yes, hold it against the bolt and weld from the inside!
Then you can loosen it with a plumber wrench or similar. |

Edit - Don't have spaces in the filenames. I've substituted the space for "%20" (no quotes) ES.

Thanks for the ideas. The bolt pattern is a torx type so not sure on the welding a pipe to it would be strong enough plus me wheels are 928 s4 winters so I dont want to damage them!!! The head are quite a way in the recesses so getting on the head of the bolt is difficult.

Easyout, weld in a bolt/weld on a nut or a proper tyre place will have extractors but ant of these are gonna shag the bolts

You're not supposed to damage the wheels, you're suppose to damage the bolt! 
I thought it was the anti theft locking bolt you lost the key for, right? You don't have the same bolt head all way round?
If it is the anti theft version you lost, this is not what you want to read though:
Lockable wheel nuts
You can guard against wheel theft by installing lockable wheel nuts on your wheels. Each kit contains three keys and four wheel nuts with lock sleeve. The locking mechanism is identical for all four wheel nuts. When taking the vehicle to your Porsche dealer or to a workshop for wheel or tire service, remember to leave one key with the service attendant.
In case of loss, duplicate keys cannot be furnished by your Porsche dealer. Do not leave these keys in the vehicle. Keep them in a safe place.

i would say you are going to have to sacrifice the bolts as already mentioned - ive had success in the past by hammering on old sockets (in this case maybe try a large hex or torx) when this has failed ive then resorted to the above and welded sockets on. You can also buy extractors but these tend to be expensive and basically achieve the same as hammering on a socket!
I would doubt very much you will find a replacement key unless you get really lucky! |

| those wheel bolts look like the type of locking bolt fitted to late vw seat skoda audi etc and all keys are the same find someone with a golf passat tt ibiza and try there key before you do anything drastic |
