thinking that when the alfa wizard is done i might so a suby bug
i know of a low mileage legacy lump local to me N/A
i will be looking to either go for a 1303 chassis or irs a swing axle one
so how straight forward is it and is there a how to guide. Also which bus boxes should i keep a look out for. I would be thinking of going down the rjes bellhousing route, so would a flywheel adaptor like the one from ds tuning still be required? _________________ "Doc I can't stop singing The Green, Green Grass of home"

Nope, RJs bit takes care of it for you:
Standard manual Scooby flywheel, pressure plate, starter and release bearing.
Standard Type 4 (pancake) friction plate. _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

lol, bus boxes definitely have their place! just depends what you want to use the car for and I use mine 99% on the road and regularly so the short ratios would get to me
It would be a good excuse to use one of Rich's lovely kits though.. _________________ http://www.ricola.co.uk |

Hi, i'm currently doing a bus box and vwrx conversion on my split bug, bugger and bugger again forgot about it needing a type4 friction plate.... where can u get discs cabale of 300bhp ?
btw anyone want a subaru clutch disc capable of 340bhp bought from techniclutch?
help... as nearing engine and gearbox mating.. BUGGER
chris
as for changing the ratio's i've looked into this... the places over here that can do it is the usual one COGBOX or BEARS... but if you wanted to do yourself then LONGENTERPRISES are you people.. one thing i've found on the US OFFROAD forums is that the 3rd and 4th are fine teeth which need to be changed for course and the selecting of changed gear ratios may become more difficult _________________ 52 vwrx |

Hello Toadheaddesigns,
As you're in Stoke and I'm in Cheadle (sorry - not sure whether I know you), come and see me if you need any info if you like. My EJ25 Syncro is up and running again if you want a look / ride in it. Thanks, _________________ Regards,
