Its looking good I always prefer the lower light look to the later versions.

How are you going to remove that centre though?

the tool strips paint and underseal on flat surfaces very quickley it cost about 20 quid mind

and i only leaves a very light mark on the steal if used correctly you can see
it on the bulk head all light inperfections caused will dissapear with high build primer

its great i will ask my dad where he got it from

and now for an update

bump cut out

new plate tacked in

got it close dont you think

and a little distortion from the seam weld

but after a grind and a bit of a fettle it should all come true and very little filler will be needed all that on the next instalation of early bay reato Grin

well a little done tonight

thats much better less filler needed now

and i have put some more rust preventer on the inside of the front panel a few more little repairs on it and i will be ready to lay some paint on it which will be exciting

oh i have also chosen my final colour you will have to guess what it is untill i show some pics with some top coat sprayed but knowing me that will be weeks

so get guessing

and ia little prep on the chassis leg before the new bit gets stiched in

Some very nice metalwork going on there m8

I've got my front panel to change over as well as it's currently the wrong one for the Bus with High indicators, job for winter time though as it'll do for now Grin

Keep the updates coming.... I'll have a guess at the colour Very pale light Green ? ? ?

Hello doing a top job

colour was thinking the same as covin but then thought light blue try not to go for a dark colour as it shows every imperfection ,,,,

benn a slow weekend weater was good but had a lot to do at work and i locked the keys in the garage and my dad with the spare set was working on his boat at fosdyke 70 miles away so i have have to wait for him to get back tomorrow

and you will need to keep guesing

look back at the post for a clue and for the shade you will find it in a news agents

its not that dark sort of medium shade i would say but i will have to wait and see when i start to spray the insdide of the newly finished panel but i'm taking advantage off the good weather when i can get insie that garge the worst part is a can see the keys through the window

that aside mocked up the arche for fit

need to hang my new door i got for 20 quid

and see how it all fits

and my dad went to the machine marts vat free day for some more gas for my mig and a few other consumables and he couldnt resist somthing he has wanted for ages
