i have a gargae as you can see from the other pics but its not as alrge as your the barns some of you have

in the garage it would be like covin and the other people that use the garage like my dad would be pissed off if the van was in there for months on end and end

plus I work on the railway so being outside isnt much of a change to what i do during the day and all the prep work folding and making of panels can be done in the garage

Is your garage a drive through one like mine ?
Mine is a good size and a drive through which is very usefull but it's no good for doing long term projects in as it means my Covin can no longer get out so it's trapped in the back graden until the Bus is done ...
Bit of a pain really which is why I'm going to build a new garage in the back garden for doing future builds in

no its a double drve in and stay in work shop on one side so the door is blocked and the other has the pit in it the garage isnt really big enoughas the doors i think are the smallest you can buy

the bloke that built was a cheap skate if i ever get hold of my dads house i will extend it and have it so you drive in from the road its alot of work as its brick built

but i may do it as the rest of the house need barely any work

was good great hospitallity got me a fairly decent set of early bay doors for 40 quid with opening quarter lights and glass

2 new arches
chassis repair piece for o/s the bit with all the holes
front panel
so all i need now is some cab floors and i will all teh panels i need for the b posts forward

starting to clean up the underseal and the paint on the inside and outside of the cab getting ready for some more rust killer and high build primer god its gonna look diferent removing all the other bits underneath so its a blank canvass for refitting incluing remote brake server and heater matrix but thats all to come

tim for an update with some photos dads comp working now with my camera so i can show you all what i havent been doing god women and work never stop distracting you

new a post on off side

too cold and wet so found some stuff do in the gargae engine lid bare metaled

and with the beam removed i found some more rust so i started to replace the rubish with new metal

and i started to cut out the other side to look at replacing the chassis leg when i have done with the other side did this as i ran out of gas and want to cut somthing

i relaxed a bit and removed the windsreen

and started to clean up the floor and arches in the cab

also mocked up the new chassis section for the extra bits i need to ad this now all fits and is waiting for better weather so i can weld out side

so in the mean time my front panel is now beeing modified to my own preferance

oh and the main thing that holds up this resto

That brings back some bad memorys for me Grin
Good work m8, you'll get there, trust me. The front chassis is not to bad to do but the rear end is a nightmare to get into... Hope your rear chassis is ok
Keep the updates coming

well after a weekend of work and girlfriend and a late finish today not much has happened

remember this

well what you cant see is the distortion i got when welding it in its bowed inwards not good at all would need a lot of filler so my dad being the muti talented man he is has filed it with lead

leaving a lot less to fill with the normal 2 part body filler

i have also cut off the overlap where the the lower panel and upper panel fit to together for a smoother look

all i need to do now is remove the bump

i was thinking of preping and spraying the back of the panel before i put it in so it matches the final body colour

opinions and possible problems would be apreciated

thanks and another update soon
