any ideas on a good exhaust set up for my bug? top priority is ground clearance, then performance.
i was thinking of maybe twin motorbike race cans... 1 for each manifold.
any thoughts? |

For ground clearance the stock manifold is the best, aftermarket ones tend to be lower. Stock ones can be made to make a surprising amount of extra power with some matchporting at the heads. At the turbo outlet you can make it a single pipe (like stock), two pipes (seperate ones for wastegate) and bellmouth (combines main outlet with wastegate.
I'm going with a ported manifold, bellmouth at turbo, then a muffler slung across the back of the engine.. _________________ http://www.ricola.co.uk |
