thinking in desperation here as i cant get hold of a 2.0 bay box....
if i'm running the shift rod above the tunnel anyway, couldnt i just run an earlt t25 gearbox with the shift rod at a bit of a funny angle? been looking at the linkage on my t25 and theres a join in the middle that allows the 2 rods to move at an angle.... if i had the same thing on a beetle would that work? |

| bit of an internet search threw up some guy in the states doing shifter conversion kits (made to order) to fit t25 waterboxer gearboxes into bajas... no email addy though so i'll try and figure out a way to get hold of him. |
