So whats the low down on converting a t25 gearbox to noseshift, I have one I am thinking of doing.

whats also worth remembering is when i spoke to paul that the 2.0ltr t25 box has a slighty thicker casing (so im told) _________________ vwdrc class rep

i have 2 091 bay boxes anyway
and a t25 air box in my garage somewhere as well,and ive already spoken to paul at bears about it .so lets say i have options  _________________ vwdrc class rep

3 boxes?? greedy bugger!
do i remember rightly that yours runs stock gearing (ie. no long 3rd/4th)? I'm getting them to price me up a set of longer 3rd and 4th gears, just so i can motorway drive without revving the nuts off it.... not sure if ill go for that though as i'm a bit tight on funds

wrong 6 boxes and a syncro diff to go in one of them.
yes mine are stock but i will be getting a different fourth when funds allow.

right then... conversion to nose shift of a t25 box is going to be a no-go
looks like it would cost around £400 plus parts (t25 box and a late bay box). so might as well just buy a 6 rib bay box.
anyone want to sell me one??? part-x for a 2.0 air cooled t25 box maybe?  |
