Right then, here we go. This project was originally destined to be a street\strip car running a Subaru Turo engine hence most of the work done so far. I've since got back into V8's so this is all up for grabs.
The Shell ...
A lot of the metalwork has been taken away from the car based on how it was going to be finished. All the rear bulkhead\parcel area was removed with the intention of being replaced with aluminum panneling further down the line.
The front bulkhead\underdash area was also removed and due to be panneled with a flip front fitted. A small framework has been welded into the front area for this panneling to mount to.
The heater channels were replaced on the shell and at the same time had the heater tubes removed and replaced with 35mm Aluminium tube. This was done to provide the pipework for the cooling system required. As per the photo, whilst apart the inside of the channels were heavily painted to protect them.
At the same time, both lower "A" posts were replaced and the lower rear 1/4 panels.
Also included are 4 more spares small window doors, some handles, a full set of small window glass for the car and probably a few more VW bits and bobs I find if you want them.
The Chassis ...
This has been modified to keep the link pin front end but the rear has had 1303 IRS parts fitted. The chassis was jigged up to fit the 'A' arm mounts and then all fully welded in. Further plans were to mount a VW Type 2 gearbox to handle the extra power. The rear end currently still has the 4 stud brake drums attached.
The floorpans are in an 'ok' condition but may need a couple of small holes patched.
The front beam is solid with no rot however the bushes may need replacing.
I do not currently hold the V5C for this car but I have the reg number and the V5C can be applied for. (Something I never got around to doing)

Although a gearbox is in the car on the pic below, no gearbox comes with the car as this has long gone.
