Just managed to get my self a TD Alternator from ebay for £10-wahay so at last I can go about fitting in my tach and getting some real stats down-still gotta find a nice looking speedo-any one got any ideas?

Yer nice I have spotted those diesel inferfaces befor-I thought that the calibration could be a tricky but it would meen that I could use a standard tach or an old porsche one or something and save a load of cash.

hhhmmm what to-I guess i'll just see what turns up on ebay and then make my desition.

I'm wondering whether I can rip the insides out of the one in my scort and try and adapt it to fit in the clock space in the pod !

Thats not a bad idea. If I can find a pod to put it in (no original dash) I have spotted a nice raid diesel tach on ebay for £86. Cant make my mind up though to get that one or a dash mounted vdo or a normal tach and get one of those signal converters rich was talking about? Hhhhmmmm.
