This morning the temp was just below freezing point. I drove my beetle to work. It started immediately, didn't die once, didn't stutter once, just drove smooth right away.
Had my Counting Crows CD in the CD player, the heater started to spew out hot odorless air after a while....happiness...
If it wasn't for the salty roads, I would drive my beetle all through the winter. _________________ homepage

I know exactly where you're coming from
Matt (Evercold) and I had a few people in our vans on Friday night - basking in the warmth from our heaters.
Shame I was in my bug this morning, steamy windows. _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

Get yourself a "Magic Heat" 12V blanket by Weaco (SP?). They're not hot, hot, just toasty!
I stuffed mine under my bedding on Fri & Sat night just to take the chill off - I'm getting old
I bought it last year to sit on to go to Flame & Thunder before I'd bunged my matrix in. Bought it at our local big camping shop "Camping International" for approx £30 _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
