I'm pretty certain that this company manufactures the same plate I've got, originally made by Hewland. I think the 1 1/8'' ford plates don't need an extended input shaft but the 2 1/8'' do. Also I found that with the Hewland one you can't use a diesel starter - and I didn't really fancy using a petrol starter with a diesel engine. I may have to give them a bell and ask them if they do one for a diesel as it's looking unlikely that they welder will be able to do the plate.
