|
|
I have a EJ18 from a 1991 Legacy, but don't know which fuel pump to use. Being a '91, it has a carb, not fuel injection, so I don't think a high pressure one would be appropriate. It still has a fuel return line & swirl pot like the later cars though.
Anyone got any ideas? |

An EJ18 with a carb? That's interesting - never seen one of those before. I thought the entire EJ range all had multi point injection. Is it definitely and EJ18, not the earlier EA82? Thanks, _________________ Regards,

Hi Richard
Yes, it's definately an EJ18. In 1991, the UK subaru legacy came with a carbed 1.8 or EFI 2.2. I was lucky enough to get the official dealer repair manual for the car and this details the carburettored engine. It has a distributor attached to the LH camshaft & uses a Hitachi carb.
Hope that helps.
