can you please help me out with some pics off wear you have fitted you exspasion water bottle in the subaru convershion in a bay window please as i have not a lot off room to fit one any help please thanks kev

Hi Kev although mine is not a subaroo engine I have mounted my header tanks (2 of em out of rover 75) in the back of the van. I've drilled through the floor and ran pipes up to bottles mounted just on the side by the rearwindow. Advantages you can see if they are about to over cook. Disadvantage if you over cook you get a bit of a wet boot.

Just make sure the expansion bottle is higher than the cylinder head or it can cause drain back and crack the head

hi there ive sorted it out now with a bottle and bracket from a rover and it not as big and awkward as the one i hade from a ford ill send a pic when i take some thanks for all you info Grin Grin
