Hi everyone ,
First thread of possible many as I begin transplanting a '94 VR6 motor into my '67 splitscreen kombi .
Now have donor car and adaptor and fast reaching the day where I get serious about starting.
Can anyone share any links etc. on any previous transplants of this exact type.. So far my searching has not produced much.
Based in Melbourne Australia, my major concern is passive cooling without a reliance on Thermo fans..
I'm currently looking at ways of ducting air from the front below the bumper to a radiator or radiators under the floor.
Cheers Tony
Here's a project I'm just completing before the kombi transplant begins..
Passat body on an L bug pan with link pin front pan head , narrowed beam , narrowed and raised IRS rear ..Lots of fun..

Bloody Hell
How did I miss this. ?
Lovin' it.
The rack on the red nine front suspension is low isn't it.
One of the very few niggles I'd have with it
Great project. |

Red 9 is no lower than beam front but far better in steering ..
High speed stability is amazing.
Would like to share more pics but cant work out better way than photobucket..? |

Very slow progress as the list of jobs get ticked off.
Auto elec this week will hopefully get the juices flowing again.
